Our Story

MEET OUR VETERINARIAN:
Scott Bergmann, DVM

Dr. Scott Bergmann is a dedicated small animal veterinarian with a strong passion for internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and preventive care. A graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, he completed his clinical training at the University of Florida, where he honed his hands-on skills and deepened his love for companion animal medicine. He brings a sharp clinical eye and a natural ease with animals to every case, handling everything from routine wellness exams to unexpected emergencies with skill and confidence. Dr. Bergmann is known for his calm approach and his ability to make both pets and their owners feel at ease. He believes that great veterinary care starts with listening—whether it’s a concerned pet parent or a patient who can’t speak for themselves.

His medical interests focus on early disease detection, chronic illness management, and client education, helping families make informed choices for their pets at every life stage. He is especially committed to preventive medicine, striving to catch health concerns before they become major issues. Dr. Bergmann is also enthusiastic about using low-stress handling techniques to keep pets comfortable and relaxed during their visits.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Bergmann enjoys spending time outdoors with his two spirited dogs, Goose and Harley—both six years old and endlessly entertaining. Whether they’re hiking, playing fetch, or just keeping him company at home, they’re a big reason he’s so passionate about what he does. He’s also an avid reader, nature lover, and a strong believer in lifelong learning—always eager to stay up to date with the latest advances in veterinary medicine.
